(13,059 posts)I don't see anything wrong with trying to reach their large audience, and it is not the first time that Bernie has appeared on Fox News. But if the latest polls are accurate it might be over for him but not because he appeared on Fox News.

(11,607 posts)He's doing well so far, IMO. Reminding me why I supported him in 2016.
It's an interesting dynamic, because Bret Baier is one of the moderators, but it's clearly a supportive Democratic audience.
I think 40% of Americans get their news from Fox. If we don't go on there we lose the opportunity to even talk to their viewers.

(24,692 posts)you are going to have to talk to them. Maybe a few FOX viewers will be swayed. Not most but maybe a few.Trump essentially only appears on FOX. I suppose we can do the anti-Trump and never appear on FOX.

(8,144 posts)All endorsers have spoken of him as a uniter, many who have known him for years. Never heard
Uniter used to describe Bernie. Today when the paid disrupters knocked Symon3 Sanders down, she said as she got up we want to hear what you have to say. Exactly what Biden said. Lets talk.

(24,692 posts)to appeal to republicans and serve as a uniting influence. When Bernie explains his policies directly to republicans (how better than through FOX which they all seem to watch), some will realize that his 'socialism' is not that scary after all.

(146,338 posts)For me, it's unconscionable. Fox News is largely responsible for Donald Trump getting elected in 2016. Its audience is overwhelmingly conservative. Appearing on Fox News is giving credibility to an uncredible media outlet.
But, your personal assessment of me is duly noted.

(19,192 posts)You don't even have to flip votes, just show the Right that you're different and want to bring the country together, and show how Trump has torn it apart. Joe's message will resonate with some FOX viewers who in their gut know that something is terribly wrong with Trump.
