Let's play a game. For those that have a Prez candidate...

What Veep choice would help your Prez candidate the most in the General?
I’m not asking who you would like to see on the ticket but who helps the most. (Although I guess it could be the same person).

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

With Warren and Sanders being given Secretary positions cause those two are so darn smart. I would also support a Sanders/Warren Ticket.

In the end I hope all of the candidates get Cabinet-level positions for whoever wins.

the women's vote, and a very high turnout among minorities. With Buttigieg, you get a really, really smart, articulate person who will heavily motivate the LGBTQ vote, bring in veterans of the forever wars. In fact, I think Buttigieg would very much motivate the Millennial generation.

Beto's my favorite primarily due to the Texas factor. Adding Abrams and making the tRumpublicons fight a GE battle in both Texas AND Georgia when they normally wouldn't have to spend in those states in addition to all the traditional battleground states would be delicious.

When looking at that 2016 270 to win map.. if Texas had flipped, we'd have a President Clinton right now. It's the ONLY state from 2016 that alone could change the outcome. All other potentials would require at least 2 states to flip.

1. he might get us Texas

2. he's charismatic, and should do well against Pence in a debate (esp. having battled Cruz and almost beat him)

3. he seems moderate enough that he won't scare off those voters afraid of a too-leftish or too-activist ticket (but the VP position is weak enough that his moderation will not hinder what I think are Pete's more left-ish inclinations)

4. I think the fact that he speaks more in generalities than specifics means it is easier than it might be for some other candidates to fall in line behind someone else at the top of the ticket

Biden as I believe that we are going to be in a mess after this election, and will need someone who knows the true inner workings of the Presidency from a close up standpoint. I also believe that sometimes change comes in increments, and think a strong woman would be good for the USA right now. I like what Harris is bringing and would like to see Joe agree to 1 term, Take Harris as VP and show her around the inner workings of WH for 4 years. Then let her go for 8 more years. I am comfortable with this scenario to get us to 2032!

Just my take

I can see this ticket carrying all the Hillary states and adding Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida and North Carolina. It would also put Georgia, Arizona, Ohio and perhaps even Texas in play. All we would need to do is hold the Hillary states and carry 3 or 4 of the 9 states mentioned here (depends on which states) and we are rid of the worst piece of shit that ever served in public office.

Both of them killah smart, Warren with mad policy chops and mature experience, Mayor Pete with administrative skillz and youthful drive.

Balance of coastal and "middle America", and a gender split as well.

Biden/Warren, Second choice: Warren/Biden, third choice: Biden/Harris, fourth choice Harris/Biden.

I feel we need both a man and a woman because even though I am all for having women in the highest office I do not think for the first time around the entire country is ready for two females at the same time.

I also want both a Democrat centrist and a more farther to the left Democrat in office together. Having two far left president and vice president would freak to many people out in this country and our attempts to fix things will meet with more resistence.

I realize that more than likely he would probably not want to be vice again but maybe if it came down to it and him knowing this country is in deep shit he might.

Probably not but those are still my main choices. I will more than likely move to different ticket but for now there I am.
