(9,497 posts)I don't know how climate can be out of anyone's top priority list. But it has proven to be in reality.
This is why there is a part of me that sees no reason to be upset who will be voted in, the outcome for the planet will remain on its collision course. But I will vote and hope to be happily surprised.

(612 posts)I attended his Presidential Announcement Event last Sunday. He spoke effectively about the need for critical action on climate change IMMEDIATELY.
I respect Inslee, but he's not the only candidate who's focused on global warming and climate change. As he said, we have to act NOW, because he, and his generation, will have to live with the consequences of the decisions being made today.
Please don't give up hope. We're all seriously concerned about this issue.

(43,404 posts)That is reallllly risky IMHO.
The only candidate who could do that and win for sure is one who will probably never run (and the one who would just CRUSH Trump)
Michelle Obama (my first choice from the day after the 2016 election).

(2,113 posts)Change Research surveyed 2,518 likely 2020 Democratic primary voters nationwide from April 1215, 2019. The survey was conducted online, using Change Researchs Bias Correct Engine. Post-stratification was done on age, gender, ethnicity, and 2016 presidential vote. The margin of error, as traditionally calculated, is ± 2.2%.

(11,495 posts)Online polls aren't worth even posting. You can vote more than once if you know what you are doing. I don't believe any of them, no matter who is on top.

(118,677 posts)politically interested in actual elections. But yeah. I guess they could vote several times in an online poll. Ones I have voted in block you once you have voted. But you don't know.

I agree with "off the list" and am not likely to vote or support them in the primaries... but I will vote for the nominee. I believe both Obama and Hillary were more progressive than they ever let on... and the next President will continue to move in that direction. It's what the majority of Americans want!
