The idea of impeachment at this point is to show Americans in open hearings all of the liars and lies and criminality of the Trump regime.

Democrats need a rock solid case WITH evidence. That's why there are still investigations going on.

He said we need to investigate. He didn't say it would NEVER be the time to have the conversation, he didn't say he wouldn't vote to convict. As Senator, his job is just to be a Juror, anyway.

Dumb questions, trying to put the car before the horse.

Booker isn't making the argument that we should let the 2020 voters decide instead, at least not yet. Even as a Senator who may have to sit in judgement though, he can still call for impeachment hearings to be convened. That is not the same as already reaching a judgement that impeachment itself is warranted.
