Bernie Sanders: Democrats will unify in 2020 'to defeat the most dangerous president'

Fort Worth -- Liz Runnion already plans to cast her ballot for Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic primary election.

Like many gathered Thursday at Sanders’ downtown Fort Worth rally, she hopes the 77-year-old will win the party’s nomination and go head-to-head with Republican President Donald Trump.

But if he doesn’t, Runnion said she hopes Sanders supporters will back the Democrat who wins the party’s nomination and put the “Bernie or Bust” mindset to rest.

“They are shooting us in the foot,” she said. “If we want to defeat Trump, which they all seem to want to do, why defeat yourself?”

Like him or not, and it seems you don't, Bernie Sanders has many million voters who support him. Consider that he has about a million individual donors already. It is best to defeat him at the polls during the primaries if you would rather someone else was the Democratic nominee, than be so dismissive toward those who like Sanders - and saying that he shouldn't even run IS being dismissive of those who like him).

But then says in the next breath oh we rally around. I like and will always like Bernie because tear all this away he is still good.

But boy has he turned me the fuck off. Took this long but yesterday he has done just that.

I do believe his goal is to destroy and then remake the Democratic Party. That will not end well for anyone except the Republicans.
