Bernie Is the First Presidential Candidate to Visit Malcom

Malcom, Iowa, is a town of 287 people. 230 showed up to our town hall there.

1. I live in a town of 90,889 people in California

and I can garun-damn-tee you that no Presidential candidate will ever visit my town.

The only reason any candidate shows up to chat with the folks in a town of 287 people in Iowa is that it is the first state to express an opinion on the next President.

Why is it that a town of 287 people is so much more important than my town of 90K+?

I imagine if California were first in the nation to hold a primary it would get more attention to its' smaller towns as well.

Having said that Bernie's message to rural communities and small towns isn't exclusive to Malcom but is universal, whether it be Medicare for All, improved Internet service, free college tuition, the protection of family farmers, addressing climate change, etc. etc. etc.
