$100 of that was from yours truly. He, Harris, and Klobuchar have gotten $ from me after their announcements, so I guess that's my unofficial top 3!

Btw I’m not a huge Klobuchar fan just because I like others better, but Harris is right up there for me too.

I like Klobuchar because she's been great on agricultural issues, an area near and dear to me and one that doesn't get much airtime in our party these days. Nice to have great choices!

He rembers Joe coined Ghouliani as "a noun, a verb and 911. He also make Ryan love like a bumbling juvenile in the 2012 VP debates.

He'll handle trump and won't take any shit from him on the debate stage.

I was so glad to see this total. I'd read Biden and his team were concerned about the early donations, whether, in fact, they could equal the 24-hour numbers of several other candidates. That hurdle has been crossed with this announcement.

Good one on them!

---, we have some AMAZING news -

Our campaign raised $6.3 million in its first 24 hours!! That’s more than any other presidential campaign so far!!

---, it’s proof we are running a truly grassroots campaign:

97% of online donations were under $200
We received donations from all 50 states and US territories
The average online donation was $41
So thank you so much to all 96,926 people who chipped in on Day One. We couldn’t have achieved this amazing milestone without you.

18. O'Rourke is definitely impressive

What he managed in Texas was nothing short of miraculous. And O'Rourke's first day donor numbers were equally impressive. What Joe Biden did in the first 24 hours takes nothing away from Beto O'Rourke's campaign effort or the man himself. And, of course, you're right: Beto O'Rourke is not a household name the way Joe Biden is because Biden's been in the game far longer.

A lot of this will be sorted out with the debates, something I eagerly await.
