For those hoping or expecting Average Joe to collapse in the debates he pantsed Paul Ryan

But in a mirror image of last week’s Mile High triumph for Mitt Romney, it was Ryan who kept his head down and looked to his notes. He is no dope, and he had his moments, and held his own against Biden’s relentless attack. But Ryan needed his notes, because he was on the ropes throughout.

If you believe I'm insulting Joe Biden there is nothing I can do to disabuse you of that notion. Thank you for following me from thread to thread though. The proverbial line goes out the door and around the block.

P.S. I have three laudatory threads for my Favorite Joe just this morning and they are all on the Greatest Page.

I'm told I can't call him Middle Class Joe because he's rich.

I'm told I can't call him Working Class Joe because he doesn't do blue collar work.

I would call him President-Elect Joe but I don't want to jinx him.

because I think it feeds some of the wrong images, but we all have our favorites.

I'm sure he can hold his own, but he has stronger competition than Ryan this time. Ryan was dim bulb who had the advantage of being in a party of dead bulbs.

He made it look easy. And, he was his usual happy self while doing it.
