Some historic perspective re: primary polls

At this point In 2007, Obama was in second place, polling between 17-23%, just edging out Edwards or Gore, depending on the poll. Hillary was consistently in the low to mid 30%'s

It's a long time until January 2020, and a lot will change after the debates start in June, as name recognition becomes secondary to policy positions.

By January, we could be down to single digits for candidates.
