I really wish we could get Kaitie Couric to come back for a quick interview of JD Vance to ask what he reads. nt Gore1FL Jul 2024 #1

That’s the advantage of being a dictator and a cult leader. He doesn’t have to gain consensus anong Repubs and Vance wouldn’t dare say anything bad about TFG.

But who could he pick who would be better? They’re all damaged goods.

His story is the same as that of black citizens in our country. Ain’t he special? Supposedly he grew up poor white trash with hardships. I was close to that but didn’t know it. And as I matured and learned I discovered no way in hell was my story the same as the black kids I grew up with in North Philly. Trump and Vance deserve each other. When they lose in November trump will kick Vance to the curb and hopefully that will be the last we hear of both of them.

And I also grew up in a fairly diverse city (Saratoga Springs, NY), and though I didn't recognize it at the time, I learned in high school history that the historic Civil Rights Movement was taking place back then. So it's a wake up call to recognize that this movement is still needed today.
