4. Always liked Dr. Jemison -- she *happens* to be from our area, but that's not my reason ...

... that just means I've probably seen her more on local TV than folks from other areas, and what I see looks pretty good. She's always been vocal about encouraging young students to study science and math, and to aim high and make something of themselves. She does the equivalent of pep rallies for science and math at local schools.
