Tensions between the U.S. and Iran are escalating rapidly after Tehran threatened retaliation against all ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
Iran’s military warned that if its ports are targeted, “no port in the region will be safe.” The statement comes after the U.S., under Donald Trump, enforced a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
