Let's talk about Trump's authorization to go after Greenland and Iran.... - Belle of the Ranch

Well, howdy there Internet people. It's Belle again. So, today we're going to talk about Trump's authorization to go after Greenland and Iran.

So, we got a message and it includes a funny little quirk about the Constitution of the United States. And even if you normally don't care about the US Constitution videos, this one is definitely worth paying attention to.

Here's the message. As you lead people screeching, Trump can't do that when it comes to using force in Iran and Greenland. You're just reminding people that liberals don't know the Constitution because the people in those countries have asked for Trump's help. He doesn't need approval of anybody. Maybe take a look at Article 9, Section 13, Clause 3 of the US Constitution?

The foreign invitation to hostilities clause says that whensoever a necessary and proper number of persons belonging to any nation or state shall make known by petition, address, or other public act, their desire for the aid, protection, or assistance of the United States such call shall be deemed a sufficient occasion for action. And in such case, the power to determine the question of peace or war, otherwise committed to the Congress by Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11, shall vest in the executive alone, and the president may employ the forces of the United States in such a manner and measure as he shall judge proper for the purpose of answering such call, without further declaration or ascent of the legislature. Now what?

Now what? Indeed. You got me. Yes. The incredibly important Article 9, Section 13, Clause 3. See what you don't know about this is that it was removed by the 72nd amendment. In fact, if you were to look at the text of the Constitution, you won't see it anymore because it was completely removed. And due to the Ministry of Truth clause in Article 9, Section 4, all references to it throughout history were removed.

It's either that or you fell for a sarcastic remark put out by the 10th Amendment Center on January 14th. Guys, you've got to stop. The people you're making fun of don't know you're making fun of them. So, somebody made a comment basically saying that if Iranians want Trump to intervene, then Americans should listen. The 10th Amendment Center made a comment with a fake section of the Constitution. And apparently, it was taken as fact by some. Undoubtedly, they thought the joke was obvious because the US Constitution only has seven articles. So, article 9 was the giveaway.

I just want to point back to the part of the message that says, "You're just reminding people that liberals don't know the Constitution." Also, Greenland never asked for Trump's help.

Down below will be a link to a reading of the Constitution. So, if you don't want to read it, you can just listen to it. While I find this a little funny and mostly sad, it does show the speed at which even something that was a joke can be taken seriously. Imagine how much more believable bad interpretations of the Constitution are when they're actually intended to deceive you rather than poke fun. Understanding the limitations on government power is important.

Anyway, it's just a thought. Y'all have a good day.

Well, not the bit about going after Greenland and taking it away from Denmark.

I think it's about drawing European forces far enough away to give Putin a clear shot at the Baltics.

I just hope France, Germany and Sweden are also playing Rope A Dope and will send those troops to where they can easily curb stomp any Russians who try to invade.

In any case, there is another part of the constitution Belle neglected to point out: Article II (that's TWO, BTW), Section 2, Paragraph ii, which clearly states how treaties are made and that they have the force of Federal law once negotiated by the Executive and ratified by the Senate. There is a pesky 1906 treaty that gives up all US claims to Greenland. It's quite specific in that regard.

Now if Fatso want to set aside that treaty, he need to go to the Senate. If not, this is egregious enough that he should be removed immediately. And if not, a military takeover until 2028 is looking better and better.

Besides, I think that fat fool's real target is Mexico. They've got oil reserves, too.
