Brian Tyler Cohen and Ro Khanna not mincing words

Khanna: “Merrick Garland is a good man and might have been a good Justice, but he was a terrible Attorney General.”

Khanna calls for ICE to be abolished and lawless “agents” to be prosecuted. He also calls for Democratic leaders to step up and seize the moment.

but that's because I've seen it work here in NM, where our police have gotten much more professional since we ended it. However, he's correct in that qualified immunity doesn't protect any law enforcement from murder charges, or it shouldn't.

This video is also absolutely correct in citing ICE as irredeemable. It can't be fixed. It has to be abolished and the best way to do that is to abolish the agency that provided enough of a slush fund to be able to create it. We knew that would be a big problem over 20 years ago when misplaced fear in Congress alllowed its creation.

Unfortunately for us and our country, it will most likely take more outrages for this to happen, more utterly blameless citizens executed in the street because one of those Nazi thugs was having a bad day for any of this to happen.

What can we do NOW? Donate to food banks, they make sure people who are araid to leave their homes can eat. Each one teach one, make sure everybody knows what is going on and even if they aren't seeing headlines locally, this is a nationwide army of occupation against US citizens. Make sure the ACKU coffers are fullm that is where legal resistance will start. If you are in the area where something is going onm video it. Be discreeet, you don't want them to steal your phone. Call your Congresscritters, let them know that if they don't act to stop this shit, they've lost yur vote. If you do openly demonstrate against them, stay safe, plan a way to escape, protect your face and neck against blows, memorize badge numbers, memorize the ACLU's number.

This will get worse before it gets better. Right now, too many people are stunned into disbelief. That will not last much longer.
