Chris Hayes on Seth Meyer – 1.26.2026 (Big day for America! We are finally winning something!)

(The lies and horror of this criminal regime…)

"…Is unambiguously losing. They are losing. Part of the tradition of non-violent civil resistance and disobedience, from Gandhi through King through what we have seen on the streets of Minneapolis is that in a fearless and disciplined reaction refusing to give an inch to the regime you expose its malevolence. And, that is what happened on the Edmund Pettus Bridge when the cops started beating up the protesters. It is what we have seen in Minneapolis. The hope for that kind of disciplined resistance is that it wakes people up to the moral truth that is at the core of the relationship between the forces of oppression and the people being oppressed. We are seeing one of those moments right now. It has cost two people their lives and other people not going to school and work. People being teargassed and thrown into detention. This has been a tremendous political and moral victory… and they are absolutely getting their butts kicked!"

"People who are not checked in are waking up to the abject moral depravity that is what this administration is at this moment. The courage and testimony and witness and organization of the people of Minneapolis is astoundingly inspired."

---Chris Hayes

Because of this paragraph, I am going to buy his book.
Thanks Chris!

So relaxed, so informative and effortless in getting to the heart of why we are where we are at this point under this MONSTROUS administration. BRAVO!
