Well, howdy there Internet people. It's Belle again. So, today we're going to talk about a reformed MTG.

So, former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to break with Trump even out of office. She was once his most vocal and loyal supporter, but now continues to remind people of his failures and broken promises. That has led to a lot of questions and I'm really glad this message came in because I felt like more and more people were feeling this way. Here's the message.

Belle, MTG has really been out there trying to tell other Republicans that Trump is bad. She's been consistent and she's been loud. How long do we need to wait before we can really trust that she's dropped the whole MAGA bit? Do we believe her statements that she's a reformed Trumpist?

This is probably in response to her recent comment of ”I think people are realizing it was all a lie. It was a big lie for the people. what MAGA is really serving in this administration. Who they're serving is their big donors.”

Okay, I need everybody to hear this. For the overwhelming majority of people watching this channel, Marjorie Taylor Greene is not your ally. More importantly, she is not trying to lie and cast herself as your ally. Liberals in the media want her to be. She has repeatedly and publicly indicated she is breaking with Trump, not the right, not with America First. She broke with Trump, period.

A lot of media coverage is really failing here. The US media likes to paint everything as two sides. They like nice, neat, clean storylines, good guys and bad guys, right and left. So to the liberal-leaning media, if she broke with Trump, she's now a good guy in the framing. To the right-leaning media, if she broke with Trump, she's now a crazy liberal bad guy.

When I look and listen to what MTG is saying, she is openly saying she still adheres to far-right beliefs. It seems like she lost faith in Trump because maybe she realized for him it was an act or that he put his own interests or the interests of his friends over the country and that's not very America Firsty, right?

For lack of a better phrase, it seems like she broke with Trump because Trump wasn't Trumpy enough. He wasn't sticking to his rhetoric. She isn't saying she's reformed and become less right-wing. That's coming from liberals who want to believe it. She is openly saying the opposite. “I haven't said if I'm leaving the Republican party, but my focus is America First and my focus is earn my vote."

That's an important part of this. I've said she's a useful gauge for a lot of Trump's base. Liberals like to act like Trump is seeing this drastic decline in support because everybody is seeing the error of their ways. That's most of the drop in support. But for some, he's losing their support because he isn't going far enough with his promises. Don't recast her as a liberal or even a liberal ally. She's not and she doesn't want to be. She's realistically more conservative than Trump is.
