A Conservative Finally Says It: Trump Is Incredibly Corrupt - The Bulwark

Tim Miller takes on a stunning National Review series that details the scale of Trump’s crypto corruption—dwarfing anything ever alleged about Biden—and explains how Trump’s crypto business operated as a pay-to-play system for foreign money, why Republican oversight collapsed, and why it matters that conservatives are finally starting to say it out loud. - 02/08/2026.

i do this because by the time i get a word screen i forget what i was going to type

why we fight

trump is a facilitator. its part of the business thing. If you want to sell shoes in queens you can either go through a legal process that might last until styles change or you can call trump's girl susie who can call rudy and next day you've got the prada knock off franchise for a few blocks.
someday, trump might want something from his friends, buy some overpriced merch maybe.

we don't work like that. we didn;t pass zoning, permitting, inspection, public health laws just so you can facilitate a deal. we kinda care about these things.

our problem is we gotta get efficient enough that legitimate businesses want to do it properly, a process that conservatives will oppose in ways that would make a good book. maybe by setphen king.

do we need to integrate artificial intelligence into every process? maybe, but maybe do it without the chain saw. why are conservatives so radical!

i just want the world to proceed with an illusion, a narrative of progress. feels kinda foolish while besieged by every tribe of barbarians on the planet. and maybe beyond if miller is really a reptilian .

happy mardi .gras.

You enumerated ways that the felon-in-chief and his followers/minions/sycophants are also corrupt. He believes he's above laws and norms and he's developed countless illegal enterprises which ensnare many who do business with him. Why else would he be guilty of 34 felonies??
