Justice Department caught in shock Epstein update - Another Day - Brian Tyler Cohen

BTC: Trump's DOJ withholds more of the Epstein files and these pages are about Trump. They probably just hit delete when they meant to hit forward. Happens to the best of us. This is just another day.

By now, everyone's seen the footage of FBI Director Kash Patel pregaming at the post game in Milan. But as it turns out, that celebratory beer was more than a way to honor our men's hockey team. It was also because Trump's Department of Justice almost got away with something.

Ana Cabrera: Can we begin with breaking news from MSNOW this hour about Trump related files missing from the DOJ's Epstein files release?

(cut to studio)
BTC: Uh, more missing files. My god, someone get Pam Bondi a paper weight already or at the very least, a small slice of morality so she stops running cover for people involved with a sex trafficking ring. Either one will do. But let's hear about these missing files.

(cut to video from MSNOW)
Guest: This is an index of witness statements from people who were not expected to testify at Ghislaine Maxwell's trial, but whose statements were nonetheless produced to her defense council in the run-up to her 2021 trial. MSNOW can report that there is at least one witness for whom three interviews with the FBI in rapid succession in 2019 are missing.

BTC: So, a couple pages are missing. What's the big deal about that?

(cut to video from MSNOW)
Guest: Well, the big deal about that is that we can also confirm that that woman is the same person who in a 2025 FBI presentation is identified to have accused Donald Trump of a sexual assault when she was between 13 and 15 years old.

(cut to studio)
BTC: Yeah, I'd say that qualifies as a pretty big deal. Now, is it as big a deal as the saving Shaq said that we can get at J C Penney? Up for debate. But I'd say having the Justice Department withhold files detailing an assault accusation against the sitting president of the United States comes in at least as a close second.

Now, in response to this, the Department of Justice spokeswoman Natalie Baldassarre reiterated DOJ's stance that any documents not published are privileged, are duplicates, or relate to an ongoing federal investigation. And I realize that if the DOJ were telling anything remotely close to the truth here, privileged documents or documents pertaining to an ongoing investigation would be applicable, but duplicates. The reason the DOJ could be withholding pages that incriminate Donald Trump is because they don't want to burden the public with having two of them. So when Pam Bondi said {inset video of Pam Bondi saying “the Dow is over 50,000”}, she was pointing out our nation's wild financial success, but she also wants us to know that the cost of extra printer ink is still too much to bear.

Now, with tonight being Donald Trump's State of the Union address, otherwise known as the event the USA women's hockey team RSVPd go fuck yourself to, some Republican members of Congress were on hand to respond to this breaking news.

Reporter: The Ranking Member on the Oversight Committee continues to claim that the FBI has not released all of the files, particularly files that they say the president has been named in with the accusations coming from a minor.

James Comer: Well, look, first of all, anyone can make an anonymous call and accuse anyone of anything.

(cut to studio)
BTC: Uh, wait, is is that true? Excuse me, just one quick second.

{Brian makes fake phone call}

Hi, Department of Justice. How's it going? I'd like to make an anonymous report, please. Great. That's right. Uh, I would like to accuse Representative James Comer of siding with the perpetrators of sexual abuse rather than the victims and in doing so making him now culpable in the cover up of a federal investigation. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Oh, and also I would like to accuse him of being a goat fucker. That's right. Fucks goats big time. Thanks so much.

The withholding of these pages, which is illegal, is just the latest attempt by this administration to not release all of the files, which as a reminder was one of the biggest issues they ran on. That would be like Dunkin’ Donuts shoving America runs on Dunkin’ down your throats, only to turn around and say, "Relax, it's just coffee."

And as a result of this administration's cover up and complete abdication of duty when it comes to pursuing justice for the survivors, Epstein's victims have decided to attend tonight's State of the Union as guests of Democratic members of Congress as a way of sending a message that they are not letting this go, which Fox News's Martha MacCallum found a bit odd.

(cut to video from Fox News)
Martha MacCallum: I think it's curious that people are bringing Epstein victims now, but they didn't have why didn't they bring them during the Biden administration if it was such an important issue to them, senator?

Senator Chris Coons: It was President Trump who ran on releasing the Epstein files.

(cut to studio)
BTC: And also, there are no photos of the previous president dancing the night away with Epstein, mostly because Biden had to be in bed by around 5:00 p.m. But that is what you find curious? Not the missing pages where Trump is accused of sexual abuse and physical violence. Not the fact that besides Trump, eight other men in his administration are featured prominently in the Epstein files. Do you find it curious that the head of the FBI who previously vowed to bring down anyone involved with Epstein has not found time to do that, but has carved out time to relive his college years?

At this point, it's not a surprise to see conservative news networks going to bat for the president or see most Republicans doing the same. But at least some members of Congress remain a check on the executive.

(cut to video from Fox Business)
James Comer: But look, I support the president. We're going to do uh you know, in in my congressional office in Kentucky, I'm going to do whatever uh the president wants to to move his agenda forward.

(cut to studio)
BTC: Spoken like a true goat fucker. You know, I'm surprised that we can even understand what Comer was saying considering he's got both of Trump's balls in his mouth.

The reality is Donald Trump is a media master, a virtuoso. No other person in the world is more savvy at manipulating, misrepresenting, and distorting the truth on the air. He is the god damn Da Vinci of deceit. And yet, there are pages in those files even he can't bear to have out there. Information that is too horrific for him to combat. Think about that.

What could be worse than everything we already know about this man? He admits that he grabs women by the pussy. He cheated on his wife with porn stars and use hush money to keep it under wraps. There have been numerous accusations of sexual assault. Accusations of him walking in on girls changing at the Miss Teen USA pageant. He was besties with a pedophile. He's been found liable for sexual abuse. A federal judge said that he raped E. Jean Carroll. And with that stellar resume, he got elected President of the United States twice. I'm not a conspiracy guy, which I think is quite evident to more than one of you, but there has to be something going on here, right?

There has to be something in those files that are so troublesome they are worth Donald Trump torpedoing his entire presidency. I mean, we all know Trump thrives when he has a punching bag, whether it's the Democrats, the media, or just Eric. But this is what he's chosen to go to war with, the narrative that he's running cover for pedophiles. Donald Trump could have put this Epstein issue to bed a year ago, but at every turn, he and every member of his administration have chosen to go in the opposite direction, all while claiming that they want justice for the victims.

Now, I'm not saying that Donald Trump is guilty of any crime. But I am saying that withholding files, calling it a hoax, and harassing members of your own party for wanting the evidence to come out sure as hell makes it seem like he is.

James Comer: Anyone can make an anonymous call and accuse anyone of anything.

(cut to studio)
BTC: Sure. But some feel slightly more credible than others.
