Stephen Colbert - Guest Jimmy Fallon

“You Did It Your Way” - Jimmy Fallon Serenades Stephen Colbert On The Late Show - EXTENDED INTERVIEW

Stephen’s friend and fellow late night host Jimmy Fallon stops by for his first interview on The Late Show. Watch as the two reminisce about the good times they’ve shared, including a mind-blowing trip to meet Pope Francis, and sing along as Jimmy Fallon pays tribute to Stephen in the most Fallon way possible: with a song. “The Tonight Show” airs weeknights on NBC.

In the good old days, it wasn't so.

Joan Rivers and Carson were great friends. She "sat in" for him dozens of times, was a very popular guest when she wasn't subbing for him. She relates how she was fortunate to get a night time show on Fox. She said she knew she got the offer from Fox because of her exposure on Johnny Carson's show and was so thrilled and excited that she called him to thank him and share her good fortune.

When she told Carson about her good fortune, he hung up the phone and never spoke to her again.

My, how times have changed!

During the 2023 writers' strike they banded together to hold a podcast called Strike Force Five to make money for and support their respective staffs who were forced out of work - and became great friends.

I love his show and rate it a close second behind Colbert in its ability to soothe the lacerations in my soul from the Orange Colostomy Bag and his fecal minions.
