See for yourself.
The Hallucinating ChatGPT Presidency
https://www.techdirt.com/2025/04/29/the-hallucinating-chatgpt-presidency/

This is not the response of someone working from actual knowledge or policy understanding. Instead, it’s precisely how an LLM operates: taking a prompt (the question about job losses) and generating text based on some core parameters (the “system prompt” that requires deflecting blame and asserting greatness).

The hallmarks of AI generation are all here:
• Confident assertions without factual backing
• Meandering diversions that maintain loose semantic connection to the topic
• Pattern-matching to previous responses (“ripped off,” “billions of dollars”)
• Optimization for what sounds good rather than what’s true

Just as an LLM will confidently generate plausible-sounding text without any real understanding, Trump generates responses that sound like answers while avoiding any engagement with the actual substance of the questions.

He doesn’t answer the actual questions. He doesn’t address the actual points. He doesn’t understand what’s actually going on, so he crafts a rambling nonsensical answer based loosely on the question, while following the system prompt’s instructions to make sure the answer makes himself look good.

I will def.watch it. Bernie is awesome. I agree with his first question.
I really hope he also points out that it is overrated junk. My only issue with some ai criticism is it ends up perpetuating the fraudulent humblebrags of those guys.

Both Ed Zitron and Adam Becker point out how mostly it is just overhyped clunkware and that is so important to point out as this omnipresent, omnipotent, superintelligence bs is demoralising when you know it is bunkum if other people are buying and repeating it. That’s what their shills in the tech press want.

Its a space and wealth grab with no even marginally commensurate return.

Would the average person consider it a good contract to hobble themselves all the time with bloatware with no expectation of any return on an investment you never chose to end up with fearmongering that these ai oligarchs pitch that dwarves Y2k but sidesteps the very real and serious nuisance value their “ai” has as invasive spyware engaged in an economic war of attrition hogging everything? It is not GIGO.
It is more like the human response to a pointless parasitic technology with no clear value except to these charlatans.

That is the worst deal ever when spelt out.
