"David Michael Brouillette’s ex-wife said he is the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer who fatally shot Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine, according to Thursday reporting by The Portland Press Herald.

“He was asking me to lie for him and to cover for his character,” Ashley Brouillette told the newspaper. “I told him that I was not going to lie for him. And then he tried to say that it was a justified shooting because the guy tried to hit him with his car.”

According to the Press Herald, which reviewed a screenshot of incoming calls to Ashley Brouillette, she said that she’d seen video footage of the shooting and told her ex-husband that “nowhere in there does it show that this man charged at you with a car.”

And about 50% of the comments were the most misogynistic garbage I have read in a long time. I had to report the entire video since so many people were making nasty comments against his ex-wife and supporting the murderer as justifiable death.

I don't discuss politics with those I don't really know, but I guess I'm lucky since those I really know would fit in just fine here on DU...

6. Since 2016 I have only worn my hand made anti-tRump

earrings and I live in a very "blue" area and the earrings always start conversations with strangers when I go out shopping/errands, etc.. You'd be surprised how many total strangers are starting conversations with me (due to the earrings). I'm even surprised since people are getting angrier and more vocal. Some are mentioning him dying, getting assassinated and so on. They HATE him around here, that's why I'm not afraid of getting negative feedback. I have had hand made bumper stickers on my car since 2016 too and no one has keyed or damaged my car either. People keep telling me to make more and sell them. The problem is an issue with supplies. The earrings are made from hoops I had from the 1970s and they don't make them anymore.

The Pride Parade is in San Diego tomorrow and if I had 100 of them they'd sell out in 10 minutes. Some jewelry manufacturer should start making them.

7. Well, I live in what was Stefanik's district in New York - and somebody voted for her though I don't know them

So I'm careful. But those I do know well are surprisingly pretty astute and two of them are currently on DU. One told me about DU and the other I told about DU and she joined on my birthday in 2005.

And I'm including those who would fit in here as the two cousins I'm closest to (one is now in Boebert's district and considered moving) and the girls I grew up with at summer camp in Vermont, though we all live in different states now. And there's a local group of women who I often get together with around the holidays and the subject always turns to politics. So I consider myself lucky and has been said recently, times are changing.
