overspending in washington especially

pockets this is just another
day as of this week elon musk has moved
on from washington and is no longer dr
doge but just because he's thumbed his
nose at the government doesn't mean he
can't also use that thumb to type well
we just got a a tweet from elon musk
which kind of rattles the cages here in
washington and republicans who support
this big beautiful bill take a look at
the tweet uh which i'm told we do have
ready here uh from elon musk who says
"i'm sorry but i just can't stand it
anymore this massive outrageous pork
filled congressional spending bill is a
disgusting abomination shame on those
who voted for it you know you did wrong
you know it." ouch right now someone's
changing the locks and that gold key is
not working anymore so the guy who can't
go one round with a toddler decided the
fight that he wanted to wage was with
his own party in congress over his
former boss's spending bill i'm curious
how that's sitting with this
administration look the president
already knows where elon musk stood on
this bill it doesn't change the
president's opinion this is one big
beautiful bill and he's sticking to it
gosh i'm so confused i guess this bill
really is in the eye of the beholder you
know like a shirtless elon some people
see it as big and beautiful others see
it as a massive pork- filled
disgusting abomination to each their own
i guess look i happen to agree with elon
in his criticism of this bill but also i
refuse to give him the win for sounding
the alarm over fiscal irresponsibility
since he was the guy who left his
government efficiency post after 4
months with nothing to show for it
except a lot more cash in his own bank
account and some new patriotic
landscaping equipment but i'll get to
all that in a moment elon is pissed
because this bill is projected to
increase the debt by trillions 3.8
trillion to be exact according to the
congressional budget office but when it
comes to the cbo this white house looks
at them the same way everyone else looks
at people who find steven miller
attractive they can't be trusted the
congressional budget office has been
historically wrong in fact they
predicted the trump tax cuts from the
president's first term in 2017 they that
their prediction was wrong by half a
trillion dollars half a trillion dollars
off damn well look because this is a
fair program and because we want to make
sure that carolyn levit is heard let's
grant her this idea that the cbo is
historically wrong by half a trillion
dollars okay that still means this bill
would
add $3.2 trillion to the debt good going
caroline you showed us but the main
target of elon's eye was those who voted
for this bill and nobody pushed for
those votes more than speaker mike
johnson who before today had some great
things to say about his bestie elon this
extraordinary work that elon musk is
doing with doge that he's explaining to
our house republicans tonight is

johnson opens his eyes and sees the
inside of trump's it's all about
perspective and mike isn't mad he's just
disappointed we had a long conversation
yesterday he and i spoke for i think
more than 20 minutes on the telephone
and i extolled all the virtues of the
bill but for him to come out and pan the
whole bill is um is is to me just very
disappointing very surprising in light
of the conversation i had with him
yesterday mike johnson is surprised that
the guy who flew into dc on a ketamine
rocket with bro team 6 and left after
130 days with fatter pockets would go
back on his word the truth is the leader
of the gop is rattled because he can't
comprehend a rich person not supporting
a bill that's a boon for rich people but
what he doesn't realize is elon doesn't
care about rich people he cares about
rich person elon is a self-serving
purveyor of and today's tweet
is just further proof weirdly elon is
right when he says that this bill is a
disgusting abomination but the problem
is that this guy of all people is not
allowed to say it this is like matt
gates warning americans about the
dangers of sex trafficking elon wants to
get on his high horse and pretend like
he's some fiscal hawk looking out for
america's best interest but this is the
same guy who spent his entire time in
washington enriching himself by
dismantling departments and agencies
tasked with regulating his businesses oh
except for one spacex has billions of
government contracts with the dod yet
somehow every penny of those contracts
was necessary spending and not only that
he and his doge cronies actually oversaw
a raise to the one department that
hasn't passed an audit since the royal
wedding sorry if i can't bear to stomach
the righteous indignation from the same
guy who gutted usad in the name of
fiscal responsibility an agency which
accounts for all of 1/ half of 1% of the
budget you're supposed to root out waste
fraud abuse and yet you go after the
smallest line item on the federal budget
that's like a financial adviser telling
you you can't afford a yacht and your
fix is "well what if i switch from
premium to unleaded gas?" for a fraction of
the budget usad is responsible for
delivering clean water and hiv
prevention to the impoverished not to
mention massive soft power benefits but
was also just so happened to be
investigating starlink and so it was
gutted same with the consumer financial
protection bureau the cfpb offers
recourse for consumers defrauded by
banks for a fraction of the budget but
also just so happened to be fielding
complaints about tesla and would have
oversight of x's payment processing and
so it was gutted starting to see a trend
so yes this bill gives over $600 billion
in tax cuts to the top 1% of americans
it throws almost 14 million people off
of medicaid and takes $300 billion from
programs that feed the hungry but we
don't need to hear any of that from this
the richest man in the world who
was supposed to write all of the
american government's financial wrongs
only to be the biggest perpetrator of
waste fraud and abuse so long as it
benefited him everyone was promised that
doge was going to find trillions in
savings but when the actual numbers
reared their ugly head it turns out
elon's pet project was the biggest flop
since eric even our dear leader feels
like elon may have taken him for a ride
according to the wall street journal
president trump recently posed an
evocative question to his advisers
about billionaire elon musk's promise to
slash1 trillion dollars in government
spending was it all yes yes it
was and stop acting like you care you
are not allowed to claim that you hire
the best people and then under your
watch one of those best people quits
after doing four months of self-dealing
and you give him a golden key a key i
presume elon will use less for unlocking
things and more for snorting things off
of elon is a liar a fraud and from the
moment he dumped millions and millions
into trump's campaign he knew what he
was doing when it comes to disgusting
abominations like the highlander says
