(50,366 posts)I've heard that so many times and I've even said it myself. I am quite sure there will be a "Trump downfall", but so far he's managed to evade accountability time and time again.
As such, I am hesitant to predict that anything might be his "downfall". I end up so disappointed. But I can still hope.

(113,572 posts)The King is using eveything at his disposal to destabilize the country to please his pal Putin and because this country voted him out of office in 2020 and he is hitting back. Yes, he's hitting back at the whole country.
Don't play into his hands. Demonstrate tomorrow but if the cops show up to start shit, leave the area ASAP. There will be hills to die on, but not until more peoople are willing to die on them. In the meantime, don't hand this asshole any more ammo.

This is why the next 3 years will be miserable ones, although I think he will largely lose interest after he gets a tax cut for billionaires.

(50,366 posts)but none of them came close to this guy. Of course none of them had the kind of power he does.
I agree that he will probably lose interest after he gets the tax cuts for the wealthy, though I've noticed he seems rather disinterested most of the time already, as if he's just going through the motions. Clearly, a lot of what he is doing is at the bidding of others and he is just following their script. However, the tariffs do seem to be his own pet project as well as his ridiculous military parade tomorrow.
I don't think he really wants to be President. He wants to have the title, the legal protection, and to play the role.

(113,572 posts)The malignant narcissist is also a sociopath or sometimes an outright psychopath. That makes them incredibly dangerous. They're not all that common, thank goodness, I've only met a couple of them and yes, they're scary if you know what you;re looking at.
Ordinary narcissists were just a case of out manipulating a manipulator,.

(50,366 posts)may have been "malignant narcissists", but without the money and privilege of someone like Trump, they were limited as to how far they could go.
Whether they liked it or not, they were often restrained by laws that Trump can easily ignore because he can afford the best lawyers. His less fortunate counterparts often ended up in jail. The one thing they all have in common though is a total lack of remorse. If there is any regret, it is regret that they had gotten caught.

(20,557 posts)I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a "downfall" over this.
The video overall has excellent analysis. I just wish these YouTube guys would stop with their clickbait titles.

(50,366 posts)He made some decent points, but he could have made those points in less than 5 minutes. He didn't need 17 minutes to voice the obvious.
I don't watch too many of these videos anymore. They are very time-consuming, not to mention redundant.
Justice matters.
(8,463 posts)his goons separate families by kidnapping strawberry-fields workers, leaving their kids without any means of survival in the short term (hopefully not in the long term...) makes him look like a weak asshole who gets off on his never-ending cruelty.
