10. These MAGAts have little or no understanding of how these things actually work.

They think "foreign aid" means we send boatloads of cash to other countries and that cash somehow turns into food.

They apparently didn't realize that what this actually meant was that the US government buys billions of dollars of surplus American foodstuffs from American farmers, which we then ship overseas.

This was essentially income maintenance for American farmers, and gutting these programs meant cutting off their funding. As well, of couirse, it means leaving so many people overseas to starve--not that that mattered to them.
