On the Day of Remembrance of the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on August 29, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made statements to journalists. In particular, the president spoke about a possible meeting with Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin, the imposition of sanctions against Russia, and negotiations with European partners and the United States.
Zelenskyy also said that the decision to allow men aged 18–22 to travel abroad would not have a negative impact on the country's defense capabilities, but would instead help keep young people in Ukraine. - 08/29/2025.
