The 'Real Ways' MAGA Is Now Breaking With Trump: Inside Trump's Head / Michael Wolff

Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to dissect Trump’s euphoric “victory tour” of the Middle East, where he cast himself as a global peacemaker while ignoring protests and chaos at home. Wolff unpacks Trump’s boastful talk of “Tomahawks for peace,” and the widening rift between Trump and his MAGA base. Both wonder why the “no kings” protests aren’t aimed at Epstein and the powerful men who enabled him. As his self-image balloons beyond control, Joanna and Michael ask: has Trump’s triumphalism become its own form of delusion?

But I have disagreements with Mr. Wolff's claim that the only effective national protest march is one single event in DC.

Well, looking at how we little people have to live in this environment, he should rethink his stance. I hope yesterday will show him he's off base on that. So, things he is ignoring in his stance are that it is...

a. Expensive to travel to DC, including lodging and meals, many millions of us who would love to be there simply can't which defeats the idea that we are united across the country.

b. Time; many millions of us cannot afford the time off to travel to DC to march in his idea of the only effective march.

c. Practical organizing proves him incorrect since many more millions were able to express their objections yesterday than could have by limiting the march to DC.

I have often disagreed with Mr. Wolff on several occasions and this is probably the most asinine thing I've heard from him.

I think he was also wrong about the impact of holding massive numbers of protests across the country on the same day. Trump is well aware of the groundswell of resistance, and he doesn't like it one bit. In fact, there are indications that its really getting under his skin.

If it wasn't bothering him, he wouldn't do things like this: https://www.democraticunderground.com/100220731975

I fenjoy hearing Wolff's comments about what's going on with Trump and often find them informative (otherwise I wouldn't post the videos), but he has blind spots about quite a few things.
