During a conversation with journalists, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted that due to complicated logistics, Ukrainian defenders have to cover dozens of kilometers on foot — but noted that Russians face the same challenge. Zelenskyy added that the situation in Pokrovsk is difficult, as Russia has concentrated 170,000 troops in this area. There is no encirclement of Pokrovsk, although the situation remains tense on all fronts. SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk added that in Pokrovsk, Russian troops are being forbidden to retreat. - 11/01/2025.
