With capitalism soon installed in the Whitehouse...

...job one will be removing regulations. Especially those that protect consumers and the public at large.

Job two will be to raid the public safety nets of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA and turn them over for Wall St management to the banksters.

Donald doesn't think in terms of public service and neither do his cabinet appointees.
Private sector capital enrichment is the goal of these Oligarchs and people like the Koch Brothers are sharpening their knives and licking their chops.

Dark Money:

A Must Read: Jane Mayer’s ‘Dark Money’ Uncovers Hidden History of Billionaire Kochs
In her new book, the New Yorker writer considers the damage the Koch brothers' network has done to our democracy.

The Kochs are ruining our country and now with tRump it will get worse quicker.
They are sadistic sociopaths and greedy mofos.

Solar has become the most cost effective electricity source

We have reached the turning point. Solar is the cheapest electricity source in the world now.

I realize the incoming Administration appointees are oil and coal invested special interests. My hope is they do the fiscal conservative thing and spend our tax dollars wisely helping solar rather than squander our taxes on poisonous petroleum based fuels for electricity production.

"A transformation is happening in global energy markets that’s worth noting as 2016 comes to an end: Solar power, for the first time, is becoming the cheapest form of new electricity.

This has happened in isolated projects in the past: an especially competitive auction in the Middle East, for example, resulting in record-cheap solar costs. But now unsubsidized solar is beginning to outcompete coal and natural gas on a larger scale, and notably, new solar projects in emerging markets are costing less to build than wind projects, according to fresh data from Bloomberg New Energy Finance."

Overcoming the Rule of Billionaires and Militarists

"Most of Trump’s appointees to top cabinet positions are a mix of incompetent and mean spirited billionaires and generals. This alliance of powerful representatives of predatory financial capitalists and right-wing supporters of the immense military — industrial-surveillance complex makes clear Trump’s support of the worst elements of neoliberalism — a war on education, support for austerity policies and an attack on social provisions, the poor, workers, unions and the most vulnerable. Socialism

It won't be socialism that comes to decimate our veteran health benefits and retirements, our Social Security and Medicare, our public employee retirements, our social safety nets,...through privatization.

No, it will be capitalism via the Wall St investor-class hungry for wider profit margins feeding at the public money trough.
That is who wants their hands on our public Commons. Our tax dollar pool.

Selfishness of the .05% will rule this world soon...

... if nothing happens.

We'll get crumbs.
Social Safety nets obliterated.
Nobody immune not even veteran entitlements.
People too ignorant to realize until too late.

I fear for my country and freedom.

On edit...the air we breath and water we drink under assault.

I'll bet they are terrified

One by one, Mr. Schumer said, Democrats will use the confirmation process to highlight positions held by nominees that are either inconsistent with Mr. Trump’s campaign promises or raise the sorts of ethical questions that Democrats tried in vain to hang around Mr. Trump’s neck during the campaign, like refusing to release his tax returns. Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democrat of Massachusetts, who serves on committees that are likely have contentious hearings, can be counted on to work over many nominees.

...

I mean wouldn't you be if your positions were "highlighted" for their "inconsistencies"?
Holy shit they must be shaking with fear.

Same old same old...

All the populist rhetoric from tRump during the campaign

It's all being negated with his cabinet picks.

Is that being lost on his supporters?
I mean this is a 180° turn here.
You'd think they'd be pissed.

The "fly-overs" crying for repeal of the ACA

How many of them have not lost their life savings due to protections the ACA has given them?
How many even realize these protections?

Outlawing the practice of capping (limiting) coverage amounts should you get a catastrophic illness, disease, or accident.
Outlawing denial if coverage due to a pre-existing condition.
Outlawing insurance companies from dropping you should you get sick.

Rust belt, fly over, rural, or whatever you want to call them have some of the most willfully ignorant people in our country.
And not just there either...they are everywhere...the stupid is thick.

This unhinged maniac is about to be unleashed on the world

WASHINGTON – What happens when a 70-year-old man whose bluster has rarely carried much consequence wins a job where his every syllable is dissected for meaning?

America and the world are about to find out.

In the past year, Donald Trump has mocked a journalist’s disability, bragged about the size of his genitalia on national television and suggested a political rival’s father assassinated former President John F. Kennedy. Just eight weeks ago, he told his millions of Twitter followers to “check out [the] sex tape” of a Miss Universe winner who said that Trump had bullied her when he owned the pageant.

In less than 60 days, he is set to become president of the United States and commander-in-chief of the world’s most powerful armed forces ― where his every utterance will be scrutinized for its meaning and duly recorded for posterity.

“He feels he could say something one minute and say the opposite the next,” said Douglas Brinkley, a presidential historian at Rice University. “He’s going to do it around the world… There may be countries that call our bluff on that. In a nuclear world, that’s frightening.”
