The best way to stop MAGAts in their tracks is to tell them they were lied to

It's a way to be nice to them and to smack them in the face with facts.

If they can be persuaded they were lied to, they can "save face" and simultaneously leave their lying media sources.

Just calmly insist on the truth and let them get heart-attack-danger angry. It's a stage of grief.

Counter every idiotic assertion with facts and be calmly entertained by their paroxysms of anguish.

They're dying for tRump, of the Covid-hoax hoax

The QAnons claim Covid is a hoax.
That claim is a hoax.
They aren't being vaxed because they claim Covid is a hoax, the Covid-hoax.

Thus they are dying of the Covid-hoax hoax.

Calling them stupid closeses their ears. Much better, tell them they were lied to repeatedly.

Then ask them where they got their information and say "Ah, I'm not surprised".

They might say something like "Fox News would never lie to me!" So you respond, "You're not stupid, are you? Well, then, you were lied too, repeatedly. That's why you are in the hospital bed and I can go to my own home."

By emphasizing that they were lied to, which is the honest truth, you gain their trust.

Plus, they will begin to distrust the sources that lied to them and that is a big win in the long run.

It is not coddling people to open a door for them to get to a space better for all of us. Regardless of whether or not they are stupid (they are).
