When Repukes get back Congress/Presidency-They will SHITCAN the filibuster in a second.
If Republicans get back Congress and the presidency, their Senate will shitcan the filibuster in a second to ban abortion nationwide. So unless Joe Manchin is willing to do that to save abortion rights, he can eat a bowl of shut the fuck up.

OFFICIALLY SPEAKING, the opponents of abortion don’t engage in terrorism. Throwing acid at people because you consider yourself an instrument of God's justice turns out not to qualify across the board as terrorism, if you get my drift. Shooting them dead in church, bombing their clinics, following them to those clinics or their cars or homes—these are state offenses that tend not to trigger federal terrorism statutes, because those statutes and their enforcement target non-Christian and non-white communities.
After 9/11, the media didn't call Tiller's assassination or any other incident of anti-abortion political violence terrorism, no matter how focused it was on achieving a political outcome, because that would have been inflammatory. Terrorism is about Those People.

Patients sat in abortion clinic waiting rooms as Roe fell. They all had to be turned away.
Gallegos watched each word land like a blow. People cried. They screamed. They begged for help, she said. It was “complete despair.”
Hours later, the clinic had emptied of all but those who had received their abortions hours or minutes before Roe v. Wade, the 50-year-old court case that enshrined abortion as a right, was overturned by the Supreme Court Friday, leaving the question of abortion access up to individual states. Only those with follow-up appointments could be seen.
Gallegos and her staff called about 20 people who were scheduled to come in that day. Some were caught off guard, Gallegos said. “Why today? Why the day of their appointment did this happen?” patients told her.
Those turned away were patients who were now outside an already small window: In September, Texas banned abortion past six weeks of pregnancy. That law was the first in a series of abortion restrictions passed in states across the country in the last year that served as a preview of life after Roe.
