Fox News guest thinks Texas shooter murdered children because masculinity is 'under attack'

The world has been reeling this month after two mass shootings took place in the US within two weeks.

On 14 May, a racist shooter opened fire in a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, and just 10 days later, a teenager killed 21 people, including 19 children, in a shooting at Robb Elementary School in the town of Uvalde, Texas.

But on 26 May, Fox News invited Blaze Media‘s Jason Whitlock to be interviewed on Jesse Watters Primetime, with host Jesse Watters asking him: “What do you think is the main factor in our culture that’s triggering this kind of rise in mass shootings, especially at schools?”

Whitlock responded: “Cowardice. Fear and cowardice. Our culture is controlled by fear and cowardice. Masculinity, traditional male values, are under attack.

“It’s not any mystery why young boys are confused, angry, confused about their identity, angry at the world. Their natural instincts have been under attack… since we turned over our culture to the pansies in northern California and their social media apps.

Parole recommended for Charles Manson follower Patricia Krenwinkel

he panel acted Thursday, more than five decades after she and other followers of the cult leader terrorized the state.

She wrote “Helter Skelter” on a wall using the blood of one of their victims.

Krenwinkel helped kill pregnant actor Sharon Tate and four other people in 1969. She helped kill grocer Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosemary the next night.

The parole recommendation for the 74-year-old will likely go to Gov. Gavin Newsom for a decision within five months.

He has previously rejected parole recommendations for other followers of Manson, who died in prison in 2017.

Authorities investigating if retired federal agent knew of Buffalo mass shooting plans in advance

Law enforcement officers are investigating whether a retired federal agent had about 30 minutes advance notice of a white supremacist's plans to murder Black people at a Buffalo supermarket, two law enforcement officials told The Buffalo News.

Authorities believe the former agent – believed to be from Texas – was one of at least six individuals who regularly communicated with accused gunman Payton Gendron in an online chat room where racist hatred was discussed, the two officials said.

The two law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the investigation stated these individuals were invited by Gendron to read about his mass shooting plans and the target location about 30 minutes before Gendron killed 10 people at Tops Markets on Jefferson Avenue on May 14.

The News could not determine if the retired agent accepted the invitation.

At least 4 dead after house explosion in Pennsylvania: Officials

At least four people are dead after a house explosion in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, officials said.

Pottstown Borough Manager Justin Keller confirmed the fatalities during a press conference and said two other people might still be missing. Two others were hospitalized, and the extent of their injuries is unclear.

It was not immediately known what caused the explosion.

The blast happened just after 8 p.m. on North Washington Street.

Resident Christian Gonzalez told ABC News Philadelphia station WPVI he initially thought the explosion was thunder.

"I really thought it was really loud thunder just nearby, but it shook the area," he said.
