will be catastrophic. Please do a little research. Yes, plankton account for the majority of oxygen produced, but deforestation in the Amazon will not only reduce oxygen production and carbon dioxide reduction, but a significant increase in heat absorption and desertification. Land masses need trees to regulate temperature and moisture in the atmosphere. Meanwhile, the Amazon rainforest is a major source of new information about potential medicines and other benefits that such a diverse source of plants provide.
NOT TRUE. There are excellent sources of well-sourced news article in the Washington Post,
the NYT, NPR and elsewhere. The reason right wingers insist that the media is biased toward a liberal point of view is because liberals believe in well-resourced facts. In fact, liberals are biased towards news based on the facts. We don't believe in Jewish space lasers, or satanic cabals in the Democratic Party. Please don't fall for Republican propaganda about the "drive-by media" or "liberal bias in the media." That's what they want you to think because the facts work against them every time. Biden won the 2020 election in spite of Republican efforts to contest every election in red states in court - that were overturned by Republican judges and Republican election officials who just did their job. That's a fact! The news media reported that in detail. Meanwhile, the right wing disinformation factory on Fox News, talk radio and elsewhere has continually reported the opposite. Stop blaming "the media." Start blaming the right wing, the Republican Party, Republican candidates, and the "media" that they have created to spread their lies.
And only fools will fall for that. I don't think our military or intelligence services are staffed
with fools, or the sycophants that Putin and Trump rely on to stroke their egos. The outcome of the war will be determined by the determination of Europe, America, India, and Japan to see through Putin's bullshit and act in the interests of all of us. We will all have to suck up some pain in terms of energy and food costs, but that will last only as long as Russians can put up with the pain of losing their sons, their jobs, and their self respect.
