Documentary About Anita Hill Recounts Explosive Clarence Thomas Sexual Harassment Hearing (VIDEO)

A film is set to hit theaters featuring the story of Anita Hill, the woman who accused then Supreme Court judge nominee Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment. Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Freida Mock, the film debuted at the Sundance Film Festival to sold out screenings.

The trailer opens with the question, "Who here knows about Anita Hill?" The woman asking the question to a room full of young black girls is met with blank stares. However, on March 21st when the documentary hits theaters, more people will definitely know Ms. Hill's story.

Hill's testimony during the 1991 Senate hearings set off a firestorm of debates around race and sexism. President George Bush, Sr. nominated Thomas to the Supreme Court to replace Thurgood Marshall on the bench. During that time, Anita Hill's testimony to the FBI about sexual harassment she said she experienced while working with Thomas leaked to the press, calling for a series of hearings to investigate Thomas' character. However, many observers and critics have said that it seemed the one who was being investigated and "vilified" was Anita Hill.

Some of the accusations included, "leaving pubes on his soda cans just so he could ask about it aloud" and "chats about bestiality and his penis' nickname, among other things," as summarized by Jezebel.

How shocked will the uninformed be tonight after the President states the truth about the

state of the nation. Will anyone yell "Liar!?" Those who are glued to Fox are told one set of lies for who knows how long, and then when the actual story is told, the shock. Climate problems, stock market, education, raising the minimum wage, the continuing war in the Middle East and what he is doing about it... The unemployment rate and of course, the cursed ACA. The truth will be news to the uninformed and I'm wondering how the three responses will handle it. Perhaps they will ignore what the President said, I'm looking forward to it..

Did Christie's Lt. Gov. Falsify Docs To Help New Hire Double-Dip?

There is one big problem with the lieutenant governor's defense (beside the fact that she may have told Zimmer if she ever went public, she'd deny saying it) -- Guadagno herself is in the middle of another investigation:

UNION BEACH — Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno denied allegations by the Hoboken mayor that Guadagno, at the direction of Gov. Chris Christie, pushed a development project in the Hudson County city by holding superstorm Sandy aid hostage.

Guadagno, at a pre-planned appearance in Union Beach, addressed Dawn Zimmer’s weekend comments.

“Mayor Zimmer’s version of our conversation in May of 2013 is not only false but is illogical and does not withstand scrutiny when all of the facts are examined,” Guadagno said. Any suggestion, any suggestion that Sandy funds were tied to the approval of any project in New Jersey is completely false. Standing in Union Beach as we are today with some of the mayors whose towns were devastated by Sandy and also being a Sandy victim myself makes the mayor’s allegations particularly offensive to me.”

Zimmer said during several television interviews on Saturday and Sunday that the lieutenant governor told her Sandy money would begin to flow to Hoboken once the project pitched by David Samson’s law firm was approved..

Let's look at the Lt. Governor of New Jersey for a moment. She evidently is as corrupt as Christie

and would most likely replace him if he were to either resign or go to jail. This "threat" delivered from the Governor to the Mayor of Hoboken says a lot about about her and her lack of ethics. She could have refused to go to Hoboken, refused to carry the message, but she didn't. "It's just the way it is" isn't going to work for her either. As far as I'm concerned she's as dirty and tainted as Christie and that entire cabal needs to be thrown out...

Mika is so naive. Her friend(s), the Christies will drop her like a hot potato after this

debacle comes to show what a crook he is. All of her bloviating in support of him will do no good. She and Joe are with MSNBC, therefore, in Christie's eyes, she and Joe are both tainted. I'll bet he's not taking her calls now but she won't admit that. This is the way a guy like him works. If you are of no use to him, you are gone. Save your breath Mika and Joe, he's toast and in your heart of hearts you know this. Being friends with a potential Presidential candidate is NOT your path to being an "insider."
