As always, beware the source (not NT, but the Nixon/Reagan advisor/author).

Hillary's late appeal in NH - WOW! Bernie has won either way!

Can someone figure out how to get the video from democracynow.org for today at 9 minutes? Hillary's speech is pure Bernie. Hopefully it is sincere, but you gotta say, Bernie wins!!!

New article and videos from Canada: Is Bernie Sanders the Star Wars of Politics?

[link:https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/bernie-sanders-star-wars-politics-what-businesses-ngos-david-j-adams|

A narrative of hope, of deep near mythic yearnings for a better world, of a ‘force’ awakening within, the survival of a planet at stake…where have we seen this before? As with Star Wars, the Sanders’ brand, his story, taps into our deepest longings. We want to believe the promise of ‘a new hope.’ We want to believe a better world is possible. We want to believe that by uniting together as a people we can awaken a force that can defeat the dark side. Unlike any other candidate, Sanders acknowledges the unparalleled influence banks and large corporations have on politics and on people’s lives –our lives. In Sanders’ narrative, these entities have become so large, so influential, so corrupt, so dangerous that they are akin to the Galactic Empire and not one but several Death Stars.

The 'You are a looser minority' thing arguement might not like this reality...

from Western Illinois University. Admittedly, it does not show a match-up with Hillary and 'X'. But, WOW! http://firebrandleft.com/university-100-accuracy-record-predicts-bernie-sanders-will-americas-next-president/

Why was I tagged as a suspected troll?

Hi there. I'm just curious what I did wrong to be considered a troll? I read the jury remarks. I found it a little odd that my lack of more than 11 posts was even an issue... I'm Canadian. I don't feel it is my place to influence your elections. Of course I have my opinions on US international policy and media spin, as it affects us all. My post was regarding more anti-Russian rhetoric.
Could I have some clarification as to what I did wrong. How did I offend? Perhaps I should just lurk. Maybe outside objective criticism isn't what you are looking for, although, then, I would be sorely mistaken. This is one of the reasons I visit your site: Because there is at times valid objective criticism. Although, as Thom Hartmann points out, your in fighting is tarnishing the progressive movement. (Not his words of course, but the implication is there).
I really do value the opportunity to visit DU, and I don't want to fall back on my own comfortable heritage POV - Paul Jay,
Canadian, Thom Hartmann, Norwegian. Now I just need a MigMag metis journalist I am still hoping to find some real American roots grown progressive alternative media and I think it is you guys! I sincerely hope you all come together to support Sanders. Can you just imagine the next G8 with Sanders, Cordyn, and Trudeau. We can only hope.

About floppyboo

Let me get this out of the way first: I am a Canadian. Half Canadienne, Half Norwegian. I am a woman. I endeavor to keep my posts objective. My slant is definitely towards a democracy that works on a meritocracy that is based, ideally, on a starting point of a level playing ground and a fair kick at the can, no matter your passion, so long as it embodies fairness and justice to all the peoples of the earth, and of course, to mother earth herself. Thank you for helping me learn more through the dialogue here on DU.
