Question for Pennsylvania residents.
My liberal uncle wants to retire in Pennsylvania and he’s looking at two properties, one in rural southwestern PA outside of Uniontown and the other property is in northeastern PA in rural Lackawanna county near Scranton. He knows both areas will be conservative but is one of the locations loonier than the other? He’d like to live among as few MAGA as possible.
My House democratic challenger
is ahead of incumbent Yvette Herrell with 50.1% with 98% of precincts reporting. Hope it stays!

I’ve been here in my house in southwest NM for 29 years, 7 months.

How’s the Democrat in your House district doing? I’m in a NM district that is currently represented by election denier Yvette Herrell. Currently, her Dem opponent, Gabe Vasquez is two points ahead of her, so this district could easily flip to our side.
What’s the situation in your district?
Does anyone else here plan to take a break from politics after the midterms?
I’m so worn out by the outrageous news every day that I think my mental health demands that I take a little break. I’ll catch up on my reading, binge some shows, rediscover nature, etc. Anyone else?
Very sad day for me today.
I just got back from the vet, I had to put my 17 year old orange tabby, Morris, to sleep. I’ve had him since I was 21 years old and he’s been through everything with me. He slept on my bed every night and I don’t know what I’m gonna do without him. Can’t stop crying. RIP Morris, I love you and say hi to Emily, Natalie, Smokey and Tiger for me. 
Question about Vermont
Why is it so blue when it’s overwhelmingly rural? Almost all other rural states/areas are extremely red. What are the factors that contribute to the politics there?
Anyone here ever have any "paranormal" experiences?
I’m generally a skeptic but also open-minded about the spiritual world. About five years ago, I was staying in a hotel in Gallup, New Mexico and I had gone to sleep for the night. All of the sudden, I woke and there was a lady standing in front of my bed, clear as day. I initially thought she had broken in or went to the wrong room or something. But after about ten seconds, she vanished into thin air! I don’t know if it was sleep paralysis or a waking dream or a genuine spirit but I was freaked out for the rest of the night.
Any of you have any experiences?
