Dear DU community,
Yesterday I read an article about Alfie Oakes the founder/president of a company called Oakes Farms in Collier County Florida. He has repeatedly and publicly called Covid 19 a hoax despite the farm worker communities there being such a hotbed for the virus that Doctors Without Borders went there to help. I sent an email to one of the company executives who forwarded it to Alfie saying Alfie would answer my concerns with the appropriate data. Below is the string of communications.
As you’ll read he writes it is his responsibility as an ‘American’ to ‘educate’ everyone. Will you please help me, help him, to do this by sharing and posting his disgusting message on your social media network? While 30 or 40 percent of his grocery shopper customers in the Tampa area may be happy to give him their hard earned money, I’m hoping 60 to 70 percent aren’t.

I'm certain that every responsible person in this world right now must be questioning the events of the last several months.The question is what is "OUR" responsibility?
Why have the corrupt powers that be ......crippled the WORLD economy over something less deadly than a normal flu virus?
Why have the corrupt powers that be .....chose to spend millions of dollars to bus people all over the country and even the world to metropolis areas to create a race war based on nothing more than a disgraceful law enforcement officer taking the life of another fellow American.
Many of us have chosen not to accept the programming from the corrupt media, however just as many of our ignorant fellow Americans are buying into this insanity!
It is OUR duty to no longer stand silent...
WE must attempt to educate EVERY person we come into contact with...regardless of worries of conflict and feelings..it is our RESPONSIBILITY as an American.

The Center for disease control estimates the Flu killed between 24,000 to 62,000 people in the twelve month flu 2019-2020 season nationwide. In just 5 months there have been over 104,000 deaths from the corona virus nationwide. Covid ID is more contagious and far deadlier than any flu. According to Florida’s own data, Collier County where you are located, is the 16th largest county in Florida yet ranks 8th in the number of Covid 19 cases and you couldn’t spare a few words to acknowledge the death of your own employee (s) as highlighted in this article:

I don’t even know where to begin with you bringing up George Floyd’s murder as a single disgraceful act of one officer taking another ‘American’ life without calling out the fact he was not just another ‘American’, he was one more in a long line of Black Americans who have been murdered, profiled and discriminated against by police forces across the country with rare accountability.
