Sogo's JournalPlease, just read this, and then thank the DU member who posted it:
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100219143731Time to talk about Project 2025, 34 felony convictions, ajudicated sexual assault; dozens of assault allegations....
several pending criminal trials; 2 impeachments; non-endorsements by most former senior staff....
But what, you say? Too distracted by media reports of internal chaos?
Hmmmm.
If you take a look at the posts that are keeping us stirred up,
most have one thing in common.
If you know what I'm referring to, just ask yourself "why; who benefits?"
The Congress Critters are being called and offered campaign $$$ support if they
say that Biden should step down. And if you're in states like Ohio and Montana, where Brown and Tester are, you need that money to stay afloat against the huge inflow of R money. IMHO, their words are not to be taken all that seriously. I don't anguish over such statements anymore, but wish them well in their races.....
These threads have calmed me down about the whole issue:
There are many more "stay ins" than "drop outs":

Guess who's running the Chicago Democratic Convention:

And this to really gain a perspective on the questions about Biden's cognitive ability:

OneGrassRoot: I shared your post with a friend from NYC, and
she was so moved by it, she wanted me to get a message to you that it needs to be sent to the NYTimes. Will you do that? Do you mind if I do it or if she does it?
It really does answer so much/all of the concern about Biden's "cognitive abilities."

I took the initiative to post the text of it on my county's Democratic FB page. It was very well received there, too.
Very powerful!
Thank you!
Basically what we've got in the press now re Biden's age is the equivalent
of Trump mocking that disabled reporter:
For quite some time I've only listened to Lawrence O'Donnell's show in the evenings.
He, like Joe, has the depth of experience to understand the issues and how to navigate the terrain we're currently in.
Alex Wagner's coverage is shameful, and I wish she had never stepped into Rachel's spot.
Ummm...She should step down....Maybe we can convince her to step down....rinse, repeat....
