My vocal cords cancer update

Finished the 6 weeks of radiation last week, throat area badly sun burnt, has peeled once already, told
it will probably peel several times and even crack open. Still very tender to the touch when applying
the recommended ointment. Guessing like a 3rd or 4th degree burn.

Coughing up a lot thick slimy stuff constantly, have to keep a disposable cup handy at computer desk
and while watching TV. Fill them up 3 or 4 times a day.

Sleeping has averaged only 1 to 3 hours at a time so I'm constantly tired, although last night I got 5 hours
without waking up. Hope that's a good sign.

Some other symptoms I'm having point to a problem with my thyroid (from a WWW search) which is close
to the vocal cords. Have follow up appointment tomorrow so will ask Doc.

When talking voice is real low, Doc said it'll be about 4 months before we know if it returns to normal.
Good news is I'm still alive! Sure have missed messing with the repugs every Friday night over at the
VFW, Doc said 6 more weeks of no alcohol, so I'll get to put in my 2 cents just prior to the midterms.

What I'd love to see Joe Biden do for the midterms

Host a 1 hour special in prime time on a Sunday night in which he lays out the stuff he'd like to accomplish
in the next 2 years.

Start by asking why the United States with the largest economy in the world doesn't have the highest
standard of living in the world. (Will need to challenge viewers to google....."Countries with highest
standard of living" ) FYI, United States isn't even in the top 10. Plus Rs think we're #1.

Then start asking why these European countries can pay better wages, give workers mandatory 30 days
vacation, have free college, lower health care costs, less homelessness and less crime, etc, etc

Explain that they tax the rich like Ike did in the 50's but never gave them big tax breaks like the Rs
always do over here. (Get Robert Reich to explain how trickle down doesn't work?)

List all the things Rs voted against which would have helped most people save money, voted against
lowering gas & oil prices, against lower insulin costs, etc, etc. And ask why they did this.

Then inform the viewers this is what he'd love to accomplish. To be determined by him but might include......

1) make abortion legal in all 50 States..........appeals to caring people, mostly women

2) increase SS payments by ??? dollars a month..........appeals to senior citizens who always vote

3) eliminate college tuition at all State run schools, maybe even trade schools.....appeals to parents who can't afford it

4) increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour..........appeals to everyone making less

5) medicare for all with lower premiums ...........should appeal to everyone

6) etc, etc

Then explain that he can't do all this by himself but needs their HELP to keep the House & Senate in
Democrat's control so we can MAGA. "HELP me help you, let's not have another do nothing congress."

Website with R's voting against their constituents would be helpful........HELP Joe help you .com?

If Biden is to busy to do this then a lot of TV commercials pointing out we're in a war of the rich vs
the poor and the ultra rich started it because of greed. Same people who paid to have our Capitol
attacked on Jan 6th because they were scared to death of having their taxes raised.

Ad like this would remind voters it was Rs who stacked the courts and it's time to un-elect ALL republicans.

I do and keep all of them in the hopes that he's said something really stupid that could be used against
him in the upcoming midterms. Went to go back to the 1st one after the 2020 election to see what he
had to say about tRumpie winning or losing and surprise surprise, I forgot I switched internet suppliers
