I'm a writer/historian, ex-advertising CEO who ran his own agency in Los Angeles for 32 years. I'm the kind of democrat socialist that Bernie is, liberal and progressive. I am critical about our country's jaundiced, racist and predatory history and believe with considerable evidence, this country was founded by the rich, for the rich and of the rich, and has never changed. An incurable 80-year-old optimist, I'm encouraged by the advent of today's internet which is making it increasingly difficult for a corrupt government to control media and hide its skullduggery. I'm also convinced that religions -- all of them -- continually add to human societal conflict and instead of building harmony, are a central cause of distrust and hatred. I became an agnostic when I was 12, an atheist in my 30s, and am now a dedicated anti-theist. All "Gods" are bullshit.
