About Second Skin

~I FOUGHT A MOUNTAIN LION~IN NW Montana I have never hit an animal before-just sayin' ~so I see it and its 15 ft away & one second later I had punched it below its right eye, like a reflexive left jab, but get this, that jab somehow got my winter glove stuck to its face/mouth and my left hand was free but I was holding my hand up because its right was clawing my left sleeve and my woolies, but it never touch my skin. And it was fighting at the glove stuck to the outside part of its mouth. It didn't feel really heavy but this thing was freaking out and kind of pulling me down. So I threw 2 hard overhand rights that both landed on its left eye. And that did the trick 'cause it ran off with my glove. Not a scratch on my skin just comically shredded puffy coat and woolies and only on my left! I was lucky - dude said when I stopped and turned around it hit me fast because it was already planning to take my back and neck. Dude also said he was positive it was a very young cat....even when I had already told him it was my size, except its head & neck was way bigger. We kinda jogged back to the spot after he was going on about tags on the younger cats and how he needed to see & all this other stuff but I wasn't hearing him I'm getting scared thinking that these mountain lions are HUGE and we're literally 'running into the lions den' and this dude is gonna be no help other than bait...He takes one look at the spot and says "Its a big male but there's no way" I was headed back down already. He said he'd look for the glove, I said cool, but he didn't look, he caught up to me and didn't stop talking about it. Point is - it took me 3 seconds to fight off a lion in NW Montana - if it happens to you try head shots with the eye as your target
