The parent company of well-known Boston shoe and apparel retailer The Tannery recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in federal court in Boston.

In a June 26 filing, the store at 402 Boylston St., through parent company Nader Corp., listed that it had an estimated 50-99 creditors owed a total of between $1 million and $10 million as well as assets of between zero and $50,000.

Creditors in the filing included companies such as Adidas AG, Arc'Teryx, Clark, Colliers International N.E. LLC, Dolce & Gabbana USA Inc., Eversource and Lanvin, Luxoticca, New Balance and Valentino.

The 40-year-old company, which recently shut down a store in Cambridge's Harvard Square, also operates an outlet at 711 Boylston St.

Nader Corp.'s president, Hicham Ali Hassan, could not immediately be reached for comment. The attorney handling the bankruptcy in behalf of Nader Corp., Thomas P. Quinn, did not immediately return messages seeking comment.
