I do agree that it is unfair when you compare it to Petreus who had a 1000s of pages of highly classified information that he shared with his biographer who, while having a clearance, did not have authorization for this particular information. He also stored it in an unsecured space and lied to the FBI about his handling of this classified information. For that he got 2 years of probation.
