Fresh and steaming from the mailbag: it's Humpday Hatemail!

72. I logged out of DU to see what sort of ads I got.

The raciest one I got was Snorgtees, a woman wearing white underpants and a teeshirt that says "meh."

And a Koch vs. EPA Sierra Club banner, an ad for eyeglasses (why yes, I do wear eyeglasses), a solar ad, ads for power tools, and ads for web publishing tools. I kept clicking and finally google ads had me figured out! I'm a Muslim and they treated me to photos of pretty Muslim women looking for husbands! And, oh my, yes, three of these women were not covering their hair!!!

(Not a fair test, of course. I use an entirely different browser for tumblr and other miscellaneous porn...)

But I don't think you have to go far to see ads for "friends" in your own neighborhood.

When I logged back into DU and clicked the link in "YEAH, SURE YOU WERE GOING TO DONATE." I saw a "We don't like young men! We want You!" ad. How'd that happen? Are these older women looking for women who like power tools, or older men? I don't know.

Personally, I thought the "viral" hate mail was funniest. Who is he planning to infect? What sort of cut and paste job was he planning?
