1. As an elememtary school teacher I got the shot every year.

They gave them to us for free. I was sick at least 75% of the time I taught but only once with the actual flu. All the rest were back to back colds throughout the year and strange illnesses like mono, pneumonia, allergies to black mold, etc.

Right now I have a cold but I got the flu shot a month ago.
