Corporate welfare, "too big to fail", farm subsidy band-aids following imposed tariffs, regressive taxation, a fixed national minimum wage to bolster stock values at the expense of consumers and workers alike, to name but a few. Then contrast those with Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, OSHA, the Interstate Highway System, rural electrification. They may not realize it, but repeating discredited talking points and carrying water for those that have no interest in their well-being won't get them very far.
