He got his start on daddy's money. He has grifted his way through life, failing to pay lawyers and other employees what he owes them. He has bilked people out of their money and laundered money. He's never had a coworker he couldn't get rid of or a business relationship he couldn't take to court.
He's played every game in the book, but I'm willing to bet he's never had an employer or a manager, never depended on a paycheck, never paid into social security, never had to file for unemployment. All of these features of American life are a complete mystery to him.
He keeps saying "The American People want to work" - but the truth is The American People want to live. We don't live to work, we work to live. I am working from home, and its boring, but my desire to be safe and healthy vastly surpasses my desire to go back to a normal work situation. There are activities I miss, but I don't miss them so much that I would risk my life or the lives of others.
He has no idea what the American People want. As much as we may like our careers (or not) the only people who are dying to get back to work are people who are desperate to pay the bills or have money for food.
So he has no business speaking on behalf of the American people. He is completely divorced from the reality of American life, except for the lives of those CEOs at the top who can do their jobs without leaving their homes or incurring any personal risk whatsoever. If you have enough money to isolate yourself indefinitely you don't know what most people are going through.
So fuck you, Donald Trump. Don't endanger the lives of Americans. You don't share our values, and you don't know us at all.
Oh yeah, and unlike the rest of us he's NEVER PAID TAXES that he can show us.
