It's so quiet in my little town in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly just sitting home to avoid the spillover from nearby COVID hotspots seems so quaint and safe. The few protest marches I have been a part of were so peaceful and tame they almost don't seem to count. I can't imagine what you are going through experiencing unrest like this so close to home. If you do go to the protest today, please wear a mask and stay safe.
