the Sister Souljah incident was when Clinton definitively said that he wasn't dependent on his base, but was willing to piss them off. In this case, Romney's Sister Souljah moment confirms that he is his bases candidate, saying what they believe in private.

But perhaps, the way they look at it, both Clintons and Romneys Sister Souljah moment showed they are with the American people i.e. Tea Party conservatives.
