4. They know, but they can't let on that they know.

The Republican party operates by putting on a false face regarding their real goals. They push plans that would destroy things like Medicare and SS while claiming that they're trying to save them.

This video rips that mask off and shows their true beliefs and agenda. So now they have to distance the party and conservatism from those things and act shocked that Romney believes those things.

Doing so hurts Romney's chances for the Presidency, but I guess they figure that's a lost cause and that they have to at least save the party's false face.
