On CNN this morning Smerconish made an aside comment that it was wrong for Democrats not to be [View all]

at trump’s inauguration. That is absolutely wrong. Not only were the Congressional Democratic leaders were there, but so were Hillary, Obama, Carter, etc.

I took that comment by Smerconish as a not so subtle way to setup a false equivalency

Another problem I have is the media rewriting history that the transition delay with bush v gore was a contributing factor on not preventing 9/11

It is funny they forget that when bush took office, the Clinton administration gave them a report by Hart and Rudman, that specifically addressed the threat al queada(sic) poised to the U.S., and our vulnerability with very real possibility of terrorist attacks by them in the U.S.

The bush administration threw that report away, and said they would do there own

Not only did they ignore that report, but they also ignored the infamous PDB

It would be nice if some in the media actually represented the historical record correctly
